Environmental management policy
In order to act with the aim of creating a better global environment, our company has established the following environmental policy and promotes activities with even greater consideration for the environment.
- We will promote the design, manufacture, construction, and maintenance of industrial furnaces that are more environmentally friendly. We will strive to realize our management philosophy.
- We will actively participate in “Eco Action 21” and operate and maintain it.
- Promote resource saving, energy saving, recycling, water saving, and green purchasing. We strive to reduce energy consumption in harmony with a comfortable work environment.
- We comply with related environmental laws, regulations, and environmental ordinances.
- We will make our environmental policy known to all employees and strive to establish and improve awareness of environmental conservation.
Eco Action 21 Certification
In order to aim conservation of the global environment in our business activities, we have decided to tackle “Eco Action 21” one of the environmental management systems.
“Eco Action 21” is an environmental management system based on the Eco-Action 21 guidelines Ministry of the Environment has developed. It started operations in March 2006 in the head office first, and then we have obtained/renewed its certification across our company, including factory and all branch offices in March, 2012.
Taking this certification as a new starting point, we will make a effort to contribute to the harmonious development of human society and conservation of the global environment in the future, too.

SDGs initiatives
We are committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, saving energy, and conserving resources through the development of industrial furnace technologies and products based on our management philosophy of “contributing to the preservation of the global environment and the harmonious development of human society by providing technologies, products, and services related to heat and energy. Based on this philosophy, we are working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, save energy, and conserve resources through the development of industrial furnace technologies and products.
Products manufactured in industries using our industrial furnaces, such as automobiles, airplanes, and smartphones, are making people’s lives more comfortable all over the world.
The SDGs, which call for all nations to protect the earth while pursuing prosperity, is the very concept of our business.
At the Sanken Global Partners Meeting held on November 28, 2019, the Sanken Group and all 12 partner companies agreed to “endorse the principles of the SDGs and contribute to the conservation of the global environment and the harmonious development of human society through the provision of superior technologies, products, and services related to heat and energy. We will continue to contribute to the harmonious development of human society and the preservation of the global environment through the provision of superior technologies, products, and services related to heat and energy.
We will continue to support the SDGs and contribute to the development of an international and sustainable society.
Environmental Activities
Reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions
We will reduce greenhouse gas emissions from our offices by saving electricity and implementing eco-driving, etc. at our head office, branch offices, and sales offices.
Reusing wood waste for biomass power generation
Wood waste” and “paper waste,” which have high recycling rates, are collected separately from “mixed waste,” which accounts for most of the industrial waste discharged from our factories. Wood waste is delivered to the Saikaze Shinto Biomass Power Plant and reused for biomass power generation.
